Thank you for the outstanding job you and the Laplante Construction team did for us in building our magnificent new home. The meetings with you were instrumental in preparing us to move forward with confidence. We knew in our very first meeting that if we were to build, there was no need to talk with anyone else – there would be no one better than Laplante Construction to lead us on the journey.

Everyone we dealt with from Laplante Construction (and the sub-contractors) demonstrated the things we came to appreciate in meeting and working with you, Bill: hard work, commitment, expertise, and a level of integrity that is unsurpassed in this or any other type of work.

We very much appreciated things like the initial and revised drawings that were produced by Paul Laplante, the important input along the way from Ray Laplante, the day-to-day project management handled so masterfully by Rich Walz, and the excellent workmanship provided by all the Laplante Team members on the job site each day. 

The result is a spectacular home that is of tremendous quality, the perfect balance between elegance and simplicity, and one that carries the weight and integrity of a house that was built in a different era, perhaps 100+ years ago. But at the same time, you also managed to make it feel light and comfortable, with an understated elegance that comes together with a peaceful flow. When you add all the modern accommodations and special touches to the design, materials, and workmanship, the whole becomes so much more than the sum of its unique parts. In short, Les and I are amazed that EVERYTHING we look at is truly beautiful.

We also appreciated your introducing us to Jenn Champigny, as she was an incredibly talented design and plan consultant who added so much to the project. Jenn is one-of-a-kind: exceptionally talented, stylish, aware of all possibilities given her impressive accomplishments, and so much fun to work with. Her many contributions were also very important to us.

Your leadership as President of Laplante Construction is certainly what makes working with the whole Team such a very special experience, Bill. Leslie and I are grateful to have worked with you, and we thank you first and foremost for turning our dream home into reality!

Working with Laplante Construction was a wonderful experience! They handled our project beautifully – it came out better than expected. They remodeled the exterior of our home and also remodeled our foyer. We put in a few new windows, new garage doors, new front doors, roof, siding and stone work. Laplante Construction is easy to deal with and very accommodating. We would use them again. Rich Gale is a wonderful person to deal with. We are very happy with the looks of our home! I recommend them to anybody.

My job is to be an expert in mechanics, not construction. So when it came time to build a new building for my business and rental property, I knew I needed someone who I could completely trust with both the design and construction. I turned to Laplante Construction, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The direction that I gave to Ray was to build it like it was his own business and his own building. Ray’s team came up with a design that is both attractive, with architectural details and colors that I would not have thought of, and highly functional at the same time. Customers love it. Everyone on Ray’s team was excellent to work with. They’re intelligent, they know what they’re doing and they’re also friendly and easy to work with. I’m extremely pleased with the entire project.

Our new home is fabulous, and we absolutely love it. We wouldn’t change a thing, and few people can say that when they finish building a new home. Working with Laplante Construction was as easy as you can possibly imagine. Of course a lot of different people come and go throughout the process, and everyone that Laplante Construction brought to our home was skilled, professional and it was clear that they worked well as a team. Our project manager was wonderful, managing everything smoothly from working with our architect to continuing to be there to answer my questions even now that the project is complete.

When we embarked on our new home construction project, we had no idea how easy it could be to work with a building company. The truth is that the people at Laplante Construction are amazing to work with, and we actually missed them when they were done. Every single person who worked on our home, whether employed by Laplante Construction or a subcontractor, was not only professional and skilled but also warm and friendly. You could tell that they respected each other and consequently they worked together as an effective team. Our new home is truly a custom built house with incredible workmanship. We love it, and we would recommend Laplante Construction to anyone.

I am still pleased with the commercial building that Laplante Construction built for me more than ten years later, and that’s about the best measure of success that I can think of. In fact, I have been very pleased with all of the work that Laplante Construction has done for me including a large addition to my home for a family room, terrace and a three-car garage; a completely remodeled in-law suite; and a high end kitchen renovation. They are very capable builders. They have relationships with the best subcontractors in the area. They are good communicators, and very responsive to their customers’ needs. As a small business owner devoting so much time to running my business and with everybody in the family involved too, having Laplante Construction working on our projects made the jobs a whole lot easier.

Building the President’s home on a college campus has its challenges. We needed a house with the warmth and charm of a private home, and at the same time the College needed additional meeting and entertainment space and a highly functional and efficient building to last for generations. Quality and cost were equally critical. Fortunately, we found Ray Laplante of Laplante Construction who was more than up to the task. The entire building process was “textbook” and I feel I can say that having written a bit about facilities planning. Ray is a terrific listener and has an eagle eye. Additionally, all of the workers that Laplante Construction brought to our project were experts in their fields and took great pride in their work. In the end, the Laplante team was able to blend our ideas with theirs to create a reality that exceeded expectations on all of the many requirements of this project.

I have worked with Laplante Construction on two projects so far, and it has really worked out well. Most people get stressed out when it comes to hiring and working with contractors, but Laplante really helps you through the process from start to finish. They do exactly what they say they’re going to do and are there when you need them. The workmanship is excellent and they’re good people. Laplante Construction has a great reputation, and I wouldn’t hesitate to contact them again for any future building projects.

Professional, patient, and approachable are three words that come to mind when I think about working with Laplante Construction when they built our new home. We were the type of homeowners who liked to be 110% involved in our building project. We visited the project every day – sometimes twice. In doing so, we easily developed a comfortable rapport with everyone at Laplante Construction. They answered every question, they carefully considered every suggestion, and now we are thoroughly enjoying living in our beautiful new home. The other thing that comes to mind about Laplante Construction is that they have such strong ties to our community, and that says something about a company. If you’re proud of what you do, you’ll be proud to do it in the community where you live.

I still remember the day I came home from work and walked upstairs to the master bedroom suite that Laplante Construction was building for our home. Paul Laplante and the crew were in the newly-framed area working. I walked into the area, looked up and said, “this room needs to have a cathedral ceiling.” And, despite the fact that a cathedral ceiling was not part of the design plan that we had already approved, Paul Laplante said, without missing a beat, “we’ll need to order a ridge beam;” and he proceeded to make it happen; smoothly, efficiently, and without a hassle. Everyone knows that renovation projects can be a nightmare, but our experience with Laplante Construction was absolutely the opposite. Every person who worked on our home was professional, courteous, and highly skilled. The job site was left clean every day. Every issue was addressed. Laplante’s team was there every day from the day the project began until it was done. Our new addition is spectacular. When you look at it from the outside, you assume it was always part of our home, and when guests look at it from the inside, they simply say, wow.

Thanks to Laplante Construction and our new kitchen, dining room and study; we now have a house where we can entertain and hold family events the way we really want to. We completely changed the flow of the house, and we just love it. And working with Laplante Construction was a true pleasure. They listened closely to what we wanted and then collaborated wonderfully with us every step of the way. It was great to be able to pick up the phone and get an instant answer. The project management was phenomenal with smooth coordination of every aspect of the project and a large team of professionals from framers to finish carpenters and installers who worked well as a team and were polite and respectful of our privacy. When I refer people to Laplante Construction, I tell them to not even spend the time looking any further.

We are very pleased with Laplante Construction. They built a new home for us and the process couldn’t have been any smoother. Bill and his team were focused on every detail, large or small. The process was even enjoyable! We’ve received many complements on the style and craftsmanship of our home. Laplante Construction is truly top notch. We recently built a replica of Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello in Somers, CT and Laplante Construction was our builder. Every detail of that home is top quality, not just the products the builder used, but the craftsmanship, from the woodwork details to the paint on the walls. Everything is so very well done. Each and every craftsman was beyond our wildest dreams talented and we got a finished product that everyone is thrilled with. The kitchen cabinets, the bathrooms, the tile work, the built-ins, even the electric work was so well thought out. The Laplantes work with a designer, Jennifer Champigny who was brilliant as well. My family is so happy with this builder and the team of people they work with, we can’t say enough good things about them!
