Laplante Construction President Becomes Certified Green Professional

East Longmeadow, MA – R. E. Laplante Construction, Inc. recently announced that its President, Bill Laplante, has earned the Certified Green Professional Designation from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).

The designation requires 24 hours of NAHB-approved training and additional continuing education every three years. The curriculum includes strategies for incorporating green-building principles into homes without driving up the cost of construction and specific techniques to improve indoor environmental quality and resource efficiency.
