Monticello was once on the $2 bill. Monticello also used to be on postage stamps. It is still on schoolhouse walls, postcards and included in books tracing the history of American architecture.

Blake, who turns 100 later this year, had Laplante build a home on Hall Hill Road that is a full-scale replica of Jefferson’s Monticello. It’ll be completed in September.
